ChatGPT reaches ActivityInfo through a plugin that you add by its URL.
Before you begin
- The MCP server has to be enabled for each database you want to work with. See Enabling the MCP server for a database.
- Read Using AI assistants with sensitive data before you connect a database that holds personal data, and use an account on a plan your organization has bought rather than a personal one.
- Plugins need a paid plan. They are not available on the free plan.
- In a Business, Enterprise or Edu workspace, an administrator can restrict which plugins are available, or turn this feature off. Ask your workspace administrator if you cannot find the setting.

Add the plugin
In ChatGPT on the web, open “Settings”.
ChatGPT Settings Select "Plugins" and scroll down and click "Browse Plugins".
Plugins Click the "+" button to add a new plugin.
Add plugin Fill in the fields:

Plugin configuration Scroll down and check that you understand the risk that OpenAI has not reviewed this MCP server and click "Create".
Create plugin Select "Sign in with ActivityInfo".
Sign in Allow ChatGPT access to your ActivityInfo data by selecting "Allow access".
Authorize ChatGPT to access The ActivityInfo plugin is now set up in ChatGPT.
ActivityInfo plugin The authorization appears on the "Authorized Applications" page of your ActivityInfo account settings.

Confirm the connection
Start a new chat, and ask:
List my ActivityInfo databases.
ChatGPT answers with the databases you can reach. Ask a follow-up question to check that reading works:
Which forms are the fields in the <name> form in <name> database?
Troubleshooting

| There is no “Browse Plugins” option | Your plan does not include plugins, or a workspace administrator has turned this off |
| ChatGPT does not use ActivityInfo even though it is connected | The plugin is not selected for this conversation. Choose it from the tools menu |

| “Forbidden: this tool modifies data, but the authorization is read-only” | You granted read access only. Remove the plugin and add it again, this time allowing changes |
