In this session, we are excited to welcome Alberto Schiappapietra, Global MEAL Manager, at WeWorld, and Matteo Zagatti IT&MIS Unit Manager at WeWorld, who will be sharing the journey of their project-based data management system, the role that ActivityInfo is playing in it and lessons learnt during the process.

The WeWorld team will focus on the BEAM experience, a module dedicated to proposal design follow-up. They will demonstrate how the system works in ActivityInfo and how it enhances the collaboration between different roles that contribute to proposal development. They will also discuss the notification system they’ve created by integrating ActivityInfo with Microsoft 365.

In summary, the WeWorld team will discuss:

• Brief introduction about WeWorld and PRISMA; a project-based data management system
• BEAM: Module of PRISMA dedicated to proposal design follow-up
• BEAM: System demonstration, including the integration of ActivityInfo with Microsoft 365
• BEAM development: Lessons learnt

There will also be some time for Q&A.

About the presenters

Alberto Schiappapietra is Global MEAL Manager at WeWorld. He leads the definition of organisational processes and information management requirements that support project monitoring, reporting, learning, and accountability. As part of the development of PRISMA and the BEAM module, he has contributed to designing workflows that connect proposal development, project setup, and programme management through integrated digital systems.

Matteo Zagatti is IT & MIS Unit Manager at WeWorld. He leads WeWorld information systems, digital transformation initiatives and data management strategies, supporting both headquarters and field operations. His work is focused on improving organization efficiency through technology, automation and data-driven decision-making, with expertise in Microsoft365, business process automation, and management information systems. During this webinar, he will share WeWorld’s experience in leveraging digital tools and data platforms to support humanitarian and development programmes.
