Digitize your case management or other workflows with Record detail view

ActivityInfo has been established as a central database repository, a system of record for many organizations. Because we are committed to help you make the most out of your data, we are making the platform a powerful operational tool too. Together with our work on automations, Record detail view is another step towards that direction.

The Record detail view allows you to create a quick, focused, customizable summary of a record that includes just the right data for a specific case or task. This makes it possible to incorporate ActivityInfo in your operational work and digitize your workflows further.

Learn more about the Record detail view in our Documentation and try it in our new Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System database template.

Record detail view in case management

This view is useful for different kinds of workflows, most importantly in case management and other types of individualized service delivery where you need to have a tailored overview of a record at a glance. In such cases, health workers and other case workers can have a detailed view of their client or patient that will summarize the information most important to them (e.g. history of diagnosis, case plans, etc.) giving them all the information they need for their daily operations.

This type of view improves efficiency and focus as noise and irrelevant information can be excluded from the view and it also helps reduce errors as it becomes harder to miss critical data. Users can also learn to work with the system faster as you can introduce them to a view that matches their workflow.

Record detail view in project management and grant management

Other examples of workflows where the Record detail view can be leveraged include projects or grant management. For example, program managers can have a quick overview of the latest status of a project in their portfolio.

A comprehensive overview

The Record detail view can be used as a complement to reports. While reports are meant to help you summarize information at the high level, allowing you to zoom out and get the whole picture, trends and statistics, the Record detail view allows you to zoom in on the details of a specific record.
