Day 2, 27th September 2018

Become a confident, advanced ActivityInfo user by joining the Training Tracks!

The second day of the ActivityInfo User Conference is a great opportunity to advance your skills on ActivityInfo and it is highly recommended for all users of ActivityInfo to attend it. We decided to create two parallel tracks of trainings to make sure we cover all aspects of ActivityInfo and to give to the attendees the chance to pick the topics and the track that interests them the most.

The Application Track is designed for the users who want to be able to:

  • Confidently setup simple or sophisticated databases on ActivityInfo
  • Create powerful and meaningful reports
  • Migrate from the Classic Interface to the New Interface seamlessly

The Development Track is ideal for users who want to:

  • Get introduced to the ActivityInfo RESTful API
  • Get introduced to the R Language
  • Learn to build external applications to connect to ActivityInfo
  • Automate basic tasks in ActivityInfo to save time
  • Run R scripts to handle data
  • Keep up to date with the latest data developments

What is the ActivityInfo User Conference?

We started the ActivityInfo User Conference in 2017 because we wanted to listen to our users in person. We wanted to give the opportunity to new and older users to learn more about us and at the same time we wanted to know more about them.

Listening to how organisations use ActivityInfo, their challenges and achievements has always been defining for the development of ActivityInfo. For us to come together to discuss and address our users' concerns and questions is an important part of our mission.

We want to empower all humanitarians to produce valuable and meaningful data and make the most out of their work. We also want to encourage our users to speak up and make their voice heard so that they can contribute to shaping the future of ActivityInfo.
