UN OCHA
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is a part of the UN Secretariat responsible for coordinating humanitarian actors to ensure a coherent response to emergencies around the globe.
OCHA has chosen ActivityInfo as the technology for its "Global 3W Project," a multi-year initiative aimed at developing a standardized global system for humanitarian operational response monitoring. This project is establishing data collection tools, templates, and structured databases within ActivityInfo to enable standardized monitoring across different operations. The system is designed to interface with other agency and partner systems, including the Humanitarian Programme Cycle (HPC) tools, to improve the flow of information on project and activity implementation and connect operational monitoring with needs and response analysis.
